Maryke Kröhne, obtained a National Diploma in Public Administration at Technicon Namibia and a Bachelor in Business Administration through the Thames Valley University in the UK. she obtained a Master’s in Business Administration through the University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. Maryke is currently studying towards a Doctorate in Business Administration through GlobalNxt University in Malaysia though distance education.
Her career started off at the Department of Post & Telecommunications in 1984 and then at Standard Bank Namibia in the HR department until 1994. She then worked at Telecom Namibia as Account Manager and then Human Resource Manager. Since May 2003 she took up various HR management positions at NamWater and Bank of Namibia.
In October 2006 she moved to be HR Manager at Rössing Uranium Ltd. Valencia Uranium Pty Ltd recruited me as HR Manager in October 2008. Since May 2015 she served QKR Navachab Gold mine as the Manager HR Services and Employment Relations. In November 2016 she took up employment at NamCor as Executive: Human Capital and Strategic development.
She served as a start-up Board member of the Namibia Training Authority and the DRC Foundation. She is also a member of the Labour Law Committee of the Namibia Employment Federation. I also served on the Human Resource Committee of the Chamber of Mines in Namibia. Currently she is a Board member of College Lingua in Namibia.
